Opalized is an evolving jewelry and wearable art project built around the idea that small objects carry stories.

Vintage pieces, curious charms, and collected materials are brought together to create jewelry that feels nostalgic, playful, and slightly mysterious. Each object becomes part of a larger story — sometimes worn, sometimes collected, sometimes transformed into something new.

The project often appears as a pop-up jewelry booth, charm bar, or bead experience where visitors can explore vintage pieces or assemble their own small creation.

Creative Experiences

Lizzy also designs hands-on creative stations that invite people to interact with materials directly.

• Charm bars
• Bead stations
• Small jewelry-making activations
• Take-home craft kits

from quick interactive moments to longer creative sessions — the goal remains the same: creating approachable spaces where people can play with materials and leave with something meaningful.

Lizzy has experience working with children, college-level students, and adult learners, and designs activities that feel welcoming to a wide range of ages and skill levels.

About Lizzy

Artist • Educator • Creator of Opalized

Lizzy Taber is a Fort Lauderdale–based artist working at the intersection of objects, storytelling, and adornment. Through her project Opalized, she explores the quiet magic of small things — vintage charms, beads, forgotten jewelry, and the ways people attach meaning to objects over time.

Her work invites people to slow down, choose something that resonates, or create something personal.
